My Regency Dress (Inspired by Emma Woodhouse)

So I told a lie, and I am back. *heehee*

But I had a few moments, and my Regency dress was finished, so I just had to share some photos with you of it! Besides, I don't want to leave all that posting for after the move....

I will be back once more after this, most likely, to share with you something I found altogether amusing, which, I discovered while packing.

However, for now, I bring you Emma Woodhouse!

My dress was inspired by this one, worn by "Emma" in the 2009 movie edition of Jane Austen's beloved novel.

I made a few adjustments when I found the pattern, and Mom sewed me this beautiful gown!

So, what do you think of it? Do you love it as much as I do?

You can't really see them, but I was wearing gold trimmed diamond earrings, and grey ballet flats that have bows on the toes.

I am hoping to take some photos of it outdoors sometime this summer, if I can find someone to take said photos for me, that is! *grins*

I love this, Bekah! That is my favorite Emma movie, (I've watched three different versions in the last five months... :) and one of my favorite dresses. Yours turned out beautifully.

And your hair is lovely too. I love soft curls. :)
